Accommodation
Your accommodation is an essential part of your experience when studying English abroad. There are many accommodation options available to Delfin students so everyone will be able to find the best choice for them. Some students want to stay with a host family to integrate more fully with the local culture. Others prefer more independence and choose our house shares – one of our most popular accommodations options! A house share is where you share a house or apartment with other language students. Others choose to stay at our residence, usually blocks of rooms or apartments with students sharing facilities, like in a university. Whichever option you prefer, it’s a good idea to book at least a few weeks accommodation with the school at the start of your course, to make sure you have somewhere to stay when you arrive in the country. Host Families
For many students studying English abroad, a large part of the experience is connecting with the local culture, and the best way to do this is to choose our homestay accommodation. We know all of our Dublin host families personally, so we guarantee you’ll receive a warm Irish welcome! Out homestays are generally located outside of the city and there are many options, including single or shared rooms, full or half-board and en-suite or shared bathroom. Host families are located on an average distance from Delfin of 45-60 minutes in public transport.
Prices start from €250 per week per person for Twin Rooms and €280 per week for a Single Room.
IMPORTANT: Irish host families will generally only accept students who are full vaccinated.
City Host (self catering)
Fancy having your own space, and a bit more independence, while still having the opportunity to live with a host? City host self-catering allows you to share a home with an Irish host while allowing you to cook for yourself and have your own space and independence.
You will share the house and cooking facilities with the homeowner, and all bills are included making it a really convenient option. Our city hosts are located 25-35 minutes walking distance from the school.
Prices start from €280 per week for a single room and €250 for twin/double room.
Premium Residence
We have a variety of residential accommodation available in Dublin to suit your specific requirements. The residence is perfect for students who would like to live in university-style housing, where students can have their room while sharing cooking and socialising facilities – the perfect mixture of independence and company. The residences are within walking distance of the school, and students can choose a private bathroom if they wish.
Our Dorset Premium Residence is a 5-minute walk from Delfin and our Host Point Campus is a 25-minute walk from the school.
Prices start from €340 per week for a Single Room.
Hostel Accommodation
If none of the above suit your needs, then we can provide you with recommendations for a wide range of hostel or hotel accommodation to fit any budget – ask our accommodation staff for more details, please note that prices vary according to the season.
Our Hostel is located on an average travel time from Delfin of 15-30 minutes walking.
